“Alcott is the debut album from the band Shopping Cart, being released in 2025, with several of these songs tracing back as 2019. The album was recorded in the basement of an apartment in the Allston neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It was recorded in two sessions: March 2024, and July of 2024, with the some final parts being recorded remotely in Pennsylvania.
The lineup consists of Will Dawson on Guitar and Vocals, Aaron Kerper on Guitar and Vocals, and Aidan Todd on Drums, Percussion, and Organ. Additional musicians include my friends Jack Whelan on Bass Guitar, Craig Henderson on Organ, and Béla Stein on Vocals. The Album was engineered by Jack Whelan, mixed by Aidan Todd and Jack Whelan, and produced by Shopping Cart.”
